There is much controversy about the history of the “assassins” or “hashshashin”, a group or sect that separated from the system and founded their own cult outside the Persian Shiism of their time, officially they are called The Nizaris.

In the vicinity of this village, we will also see the castle called Lambsar, the greatest fortress of the assassins, a place full of stories and mysteries.
